Denmark Project. This is a small project. We are exchanging photos of our selfs when we where younger with some students from denmark that do art with these pictures we will adapted them in the most creative way we can think of. We will do it to there photo and they shall do it to our photos.
This reason why we are privileged to do this interesting little project is Rikke Hyldahl the teacher of the art students at denmark, contacted Mr Nicholls Thomas Tallis year 10 GCSE photography teacher in October 2012 asking to do this project and it was decide that the year 10s got to do this project. |
This is the picture I sent over to denmark using Flickr

What I done...
I chose this picture of the Denmark student (LEFT ONE)as it is simple and plan, so I could transform this picture in to some thing that is interesting and artistic. To do this I printed two pictures of this Denmark student, used cardboard random paint scissors and glue. I wanted to create a piece of work/ picture that people really had to look and used there imagination. To do that I though of cutting the two pictures in to 2cm wide strips gluing only the sides of the pictures on to the cardboard. One vertical the other landscape but with the landscape one I also weathed the strips in making a checkered pattern , then using the glue sticking the sides down. Last but not least I used any random paint I could find in this case red, blue and green quite vibrant colours. Just using a paint bush with very little paint just dapping the coloured pain in one area.(RIGHT ONE) is the transformation.
