What I would like to achieve ...During this project I would like to focus on one photographer and crate all my photo similar to theres but alter them so they are my own as well as similar to theres. At the end of this projects I am hoping that I have made a large rang of different, professional looking, interesting, multiple image photos.

Popplet
I used the Tallis Arts Pinterest Multiple Images board to help me research some examples of the different kinds of multiple Images. Popplet is great because I can continue to add ideas to it as I find out more about the subject during my research. I can also embed it on my website (as you can see here).
Examples of multiple images: -Projection -Image Sequence -Multiple exposure -Using flash |
I picked these two photo's, to put together because they both relate to each other in a way. The clouds look very similar to the smoke because its smooth, smeared/smudged because of when the clouds move also both cloud and smoke move then there is a breeze/wind. grey/black back-round.
|
I thought this would look good because of the different colours of the clouds from the sun set. It gives the man smoke some colour and charter. For the back round I used a photo of a city to because it different also better than a plain grey/black back-round.
I created this image to the left using photoshop. Photoshop is amazing you can do wonders with photoshop creating the most boring picture to a fun full interesting abstract picture.

My Exirments
During this project I have tried many different photography multiple images techniques. My first one was ............., it ok a series of pictures form different angles also different distances for a tree, when on to photo shop and messed around it then changing the texture colour and bordered them. But in they did not turn out how I wanted them to so I did not go head and keep doing this technique.
|
My second experiment I attempted forth this multiple images project I used the same pictures of the tree, instead of messing about in Photoshop with them I just printed them off as they were, then I used a median size piece of white cardboard and placed them on top of each other giving the affect of the tree being extra long. This Idea went to plan but I wanted to be more creative and imaginative.
My third but finally idea was join by me and my teacher Mr Nichols, Using a big scrape piece of cardboard box and 100+ pictures of models, celebrities , the things girls say and get told is so called perfection. When putting all these things together we made a big collage, this took several hours to complete (more than I expected). When I looked at the collaged I thought there was something missing so I put some white paint about the dominant photos to make them stand out eve more. This made the collage look more interesting.
This idea was inspired by Robert Rauschenberg was a painter, sculptor, printmaker choreographer, performer and occasionally composer, as well as a key figure in the transition from Abstract Expressionism to later movements. His experimental approach stretched the boundaries of art, opening possibilities for future artists. While his work often enraged Abstract Expressionists and critics, his imagery and methods profoundly influenced Pop, Conceptual, and other late Modern artists.
His influences
These final pieces I have produced all have the same message. The modern world has a typical image of what we are all supposed to look like, flawless skin with no blemishes or marks, long thick hair , skeletal figures. This image of what we are "supposed" to look like is killing us of our natal beauty. So I to show women and man all over the world that these images we see of famous people are unnatural and truly impossible to look like, I defaces the faces of so called perfection. Using black paint to make it stand out, layering pictures on top of pictures as they do on the original photo layering effect on top of effects. To create the more illusional effect I decides to use some effects on the I pod. Using an app called hipstomatic and putting it on multi-exposers mode, these created abstract images on top of an abstracted collage, because the collage was already abstract and then taking two photos of the collage and putting them on top of each other. (images above shows the out come).
If I had the chance to improve or redo anything I would most certainly add more primary colours so it looked more vibrant. Everything always has room for improvement, I think the image was vert one sides as it was my opinion so next time I would get people to write there feeling about the message over the top of the collage, in different coloured pens, paint , chalk anything I can find colourful. Another improvement/change i would make is I would half the bored too one side natal one side fake, so I can compeer the difference. For the abstraction how ever I wish I used the scanner to see how it would come out, what type of shades there would be.
